Since July 2022, I have been using a Sony Alpha a7 IV as my primary camera. Prior to that point, I used a Sony a7r II and an a7s II, and before that I exclusively used Canon gear. Sony's mirrorless cameras have been nothing short of amazing to work with so far.

As far as lenses go, I currently use a set of four that suits me quite well. My primary lens is a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art lens, which is able to resolve the full 33 MP of the a7 IV very well and works well in most conditions. When I need more zoom and the lighting is good, I use a Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 Contemporary lens. While it's definitely large and heavy, I have been nothing but astounded by the quality I continue to get from this lens. On the wider end I use a Sigma 16-28 f2.8 Contemporary lens, which is amazing for those super wide shots. Finally, if I'm in extremely low light or I need the absolute sharpest of photos, I use the Sony Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 lens. This thing is the sharpest lens I've ever seen, and is just an absolute joy to use.

I currently use a 3 Legged Thing Punks Brian tripod, which is light enough to make it easy to carry around on my backpack, but sturdy enough to hold the heavy gear. And, when in need, it also turns into a monopod which is easier to use if you need stability while shooting moving targets. I pair it with the Ellie PD L-Bracket (also from 3 Legged Thing), which also works with the Peak Design Capture Clip, something I think every photographer that doesn't work in a studio needs.

I am a huge fan of the Brevitē and their backpacks, and use the Jumper as my primary camera bag. It has enough space (even if I decide to bring all three lenses) for my gear and a few other things, and best of all it doesn't look like your typical camera bag.
